Primary Functions

Direct, manage, and oversee all aspects of a competitive intercollegiate basketball program, ensuring it operates with integrity and in alignment with the institution's mission.
Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to identify, evaluate, and attract exceptional student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic talent and strong academic potential.
Design and execute sophisticated practice plans, in-game coaching strategies, and opponent scouting reports to maximize team performance and competitive success.
Foster the holistic development of student-athletes, providing mentorship and guidance in academic achievement, personal responsibility, leadership, and life skills.
Oversee the academic progress of all team members, collaborating with academic support staff to ensure eligibility and progress towards graduation.

Secondary Functions

Actively participate in fundraising initiatives, donor cultivation, and alumni relations events to generate financial support for the basketball program and athletic department.
