Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Provide constant, attentive supervision to ensure the physical safety and well-being of the children in all environments, from the home to outdoor play areas and public spaces.
  • Design, prepare, and serve nutritious, balanced, and age-appropriate meals and snacks, carefully adhering to specific dietary requirements, allergies, and parental preferences.
  • Develop and implement a structured yet flexible daily routine that incorporates educational activities, creative play, rest periods, and physical exercise to foster holistic development.
  • Foster independence and self-care skills by patiently assisting children with personal hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, hand-washing, and toilet training.

  • Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and various extracurricular activities, maintaining a punctual schedule and ensuring proper use of car seats.
  • Administer medications to children according to precise parental or physician instructions, diligently maintaining a detailed log of dosages and times.
  • Nurture social and emotional growth by modeling and teaching positive communication, sharing, empathy, and effective conflict-resolution strategies.
  • Observe and document children's developmental milestones, behaviors, and interests, providing parents with regular, insightful updates to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
  • Create a loving, nurturing, and emotionally secure atmosphere where children feel heard, respected, and confident to express themselves.
  • Manage and maintain consistent nap and sleep schedules, creating a calm and restful environment to ensure children are well-rested.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment for the children, including tidying play areas, children's bedrooms, and washing dishes used during care.
  • Perform child-related housekeeping tasks, such as doing the children's laundry, organizing their closets, and rotating toys and books.
  • Establish and maintain clear, open, and professional lines of communication with parents, providing daily reports and collaborating on any challenges or successes.
  • Manage the children's schedules and calendars, coordinating playdates, appointments, and other commitments to ensure a smoothly running household.

Experience Requirements
