Primary Functions

  • Meticulously set up the vending cart or stand at the beginning of each shift, ensuring all equipment is functional, and all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
  • Conduct a thorough breakdown and cleaning of the cart, equipment, and surrounding service area at the close of business, adhering to strict sanitation protocols.
  • Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times, in full compliance with local health department regulations and food handling guidelines.
  • Diligently monitor and manage inventory levels for all food products, beverages, condiments, and paper goods to prevent stockouts during peak business hours.
  • Proactively restock condiment stations, napkin dispensers, and beverage coolers throughout the shift to ensure a smooth and continuous customer flow.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of the day, preparing accurate cash deposits and sales reports for management review.
  • Engage in suggestive selling and upselling techniques, such as recommending meal combos or daily specials, to actively drive sales and increase average ticket value.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner, aiming to turn challenges into positive experiences.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of the work environment, including pedestrian traffic and weather conditions, to ensure a safe and secure operation for both staff and customers.
