Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to forecast hotel revenues, operating expenses, and profitability under various scenarios.

- Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, ownership groups, and other stakeholders that summarize performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes by providing data-driven assumptions and variance analysis against actual results.
- Evaluate the financial impact and return on investment (ROI) of capital expenditure projects, renovations, and new marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and benchmark hotel performance against internal targets, historical data, and competitive sets (e.g., STR reports) to identify areas of underperformance or opportunity.
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management team to assess and refine pricing, inventory, and distribution channel strategies.
- Perform detailed segmentation analysis of guest data to understand booking patterns, customer lifetime value, and demographic trends.
- Assist in the underwriting and due diligence process for potential hotel acquisitions, dispositions, or development projects.
- Create and manage BI dashboards (using tools like Tableau or Power BI) to provide self-service analytics and real-time performance tracking for operational teams.
- Analyze guest feedback and online review scores in conjunction with operational data to identify drivers of guest satisfaction and dissatisfaction.
- Track and report on the performance of sales and marketing initiatives, measuring their direct impact on revenue and market share.
- Develop ad-hoc financial and operational analyses as requested by executive leadership to support time-sensitive strategic decisions.
