Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Perform comprehensive, top-to-bottom cleaning of all residential areas, including living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, kitchens, and bathrooms, adhering to a detailed checklist and client-specific instructions.
  • Meticulously dust all accessible surfaces, furniture, and fixtures, including hard-to-reach areas such as ceiling fans, light fixtures, blinds, and high shelving.
  • Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, area rugs, and upholstery, utilizing appropriate attachments for corners, edges, and furniture.
  • Mop all hard-surface floors, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl, using appropriate cleaning solutions to remove dirt and achieve a streak-free shine.
  • Deep-clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, backsplashes, sinks, and the exterior of all appliances (refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher).
  • Scour, disinfect, and polish all bathroom fixtures, including toilets, sinks, vanities, showers, bathtubs, and glass shower doors, ensuring a hygienic and sparkling environment.
  • Wipe down and polish all mirrors, interior windows, and other glass surfaces to a streak-free finish.
  • Collect and empty all trash and recycling receptacles throughout the home, replacing liners and transporting waste to designated outdoor disposal bins.
  • Make beds and change linens as requested by the client, ensuring a neat, crisp, and inviting presentation.
  • Load and run the dishwasher or meticulously hand wash, dry, and put away dishes, pots, and pans.
  • Organize and tidy common living areas by straightening cushions, folding blankets, arranging magazines, and generally creating an orderly and uncluttered appearance.
  • Execute detailed deep-cleaning tasks on a rotational or as-needed basis, such as cleaning inside ovens and refrigerators, washing baseboards, and cleaning window sills and tracks.
  • Proactively identify and report any maintenance issues, damages (e.g., leaks, broken items), or potential safety hazards observed within the home to the client or supervisor.
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, providing timely notification when items need to be replenished.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper handling, dilution, and storage of chemical cleaning agents and the safe operation of all equipment.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with clients to confirm appointments, understand their specific needs, and address any special requests or feedback.
  • Handle clients' property, personal belongings, and confidential information with the utmost care, respect, and discretion.
  • Remove visible cobwebs from ceilings, corners, and light fixtures.
  • Spot-clean walls, door frames, and light switches to remove fingerprints, scuffs, and marks.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the allocated timeframe to an exceptionally high standard of quality, performing a final walk-through to guarantee client satisfaction.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist clients with light organizational projects, such as tidying closets or pantries, upon request.
  • Provide feedback to management on cleaning products, equipment performance, and opportunities to improve service efficiency.
  • Water indoor plants according to the client's specific instructions.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order, performing routine cleaning and maintenance as needed.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

Typical Experience Range: 1-3+ years

Preferred:
