Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Architect and implement comprehensive, evidence-based human performance programs tailored to the unique physical and cognitive demands of individuals and teams.

  • Develop highly individualized training, recovery, and regeneration plans based on objective assessment data, individual goals, and occupational requirements.
  • Provide expert, science-backed guidance on performance nutrition, hydration strategies, and appropriate supplementation to optimize energy, cognition, and recovery.
  • Design and deliver engaging educational workshops, seminars, and training sessions on critical performance topics such as sleep hygiene, stress management, and mental resilience.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, psychologists, coaches, and organizational leadership, to ensure a cohesive approach to performance and wellness.
  • Translate complex scientific principles and research findings into practical, accessible, and actionable strategies that individuals can easily integrate into their daily routines.
  • Meticulously monitor, track, and document individual and group progress toward performance goals, adjusting protocols as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Proactively stay current with the latest scientific research, emerging technologies, and industry trends in all domains of human performance optimization.
  • Create, manage, and evolve robust protocols for injury prevention, as well as developing structured, criteria-based return-to-activity pathways post-injury.
  • Perform in-depth task and demand analyses of specific job roles to identify key physical, physiological, and cognitive stressors and requirements.
  • Develop and administer targeted cognitive performance enhancement training designed to improve focus, decision-making, and situational awareness under pressure.
  • Provide confidential one-on-one coaching and consultation to individuals, helping them navigate performance challenges and build sustainable habits.
  • Manage the procurement, validation, and day-to-day operation of sophisticated performance assessment technologies and laboratory equipment.
  • Generate detailed, insightful reports and compelling presentations for various stakeholders, clearly communicating program effectiveness, key findings, and strategic recommendations.
  • Rigorously evaluate the impact and effectiveness of all performance programs and interventions through robust data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
  • Develop and champion strategies to mitigate the decremental effects of fatigue, operational stress, frequent travel, and challenging environmental conditions.
  • Serve as the lead subject matter expert and primary resource within the organization for all matters related to human performance science and optimization.
