Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Spearhead the collection, aggregation, and meticulous verification of quantitative and qualitative impact data from various programs, partners, and systems to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and maintain the organization's impact database or CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring data integrity through regular audits, cleanup, and user support.
- Develop and implement robust data collection tools, including surveys, interview protocols, and tracking spreadsheets, tailored to specific program needs and M&E frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with program managers to integrate data collection processes seamlessly into their daily workflows, providing training and ongoing support.
- Conduct regular analysis of program data to identify key trends, insights, and performance against established KPIs and targets.
- Prepare and generate detailed, recurring impact reports and dynamic dashboards for internal leadership, the board of directors, and program teams to inform strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for external stakeholders, including funders, partners, and the public.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks for new and existing programs.
- Support the end-to-end process of creating the annual impact report, from data compilation and analysis to content writing and design collaboration.
- Coordinate with external evaluators or research partners on larger-scale impact studies, facilitating access to data, personnel, and program sites.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for staff and partners on impact measurement best practices, data collection protocols, and the use of data systems.
- Respond to internal and external data inquiries, providing timely and accurate information while adhering to data privacy and protection policies.
- Liaise with finance and development teams to ensure alignment between financial data, grant reporting requirements, and impact metrics.
- Research and stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in the fields of impact measurement, social science research, and data analysis.
- Manage the feedback loop by systematically gathering, organizing, and analyzing feedback from program participants and beneficiaries to drive programmatic improvements.
- Support the creation of compelling grant proposals and funding reports by providing robust evidence of impact and clear, data-backed outcomes.
- Document all data management processes, definitions, and protocols to create a centralized knowledge base for the organization.
- Champion a data-driven culture by actively promoting the use of evidence and insights in team meetings and strategic planning sessions.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all data and reports to guarantee accuracy and consistency before dissemination.
- Coordinate the logistics for site visits, focus groups, and other in-person data collection activities.
