Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Design and implement comprehensive impact measurement and management (IMM) frameworks, including the development of logic models and theories of change to guide project assessment.
- Conduct rigorous on-site and remote inspections of operational facilities, partner organizations, and supply chain vendors to verify adherence to social, ethical, and environmental standards.
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data from diverse sources (e.g., surveys, interviews, operational data, third-party reports) to evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key performance indicators (KPIs) to consistently track and report on progress against the organization's sustainability and social impact goals.
- Author detailed, evidence-based inspection and assessment reports that clearly articulate findings, root causes of non-conformance, and actionable, time-bound corrective action plans.
- Lead stakeholder engagement processes, including conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups with beneficiaries, community members, employees, and suppliers to gather firsthand impact evidence.
- Perform due diligence and social/environmental risk assessments for potential new projects, investments, or partnerships to ensure alignment with organizational values and impact objectives.
- Validate and verify data submitted for external sustainability reporting frameworks (such as GRI, SASB, B Corp) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit-readiness.
- Investigate and document grievance claims or ethical concerns raised through internal or external channels, ensuring a fair, confidential, and thorough resolution process.
