Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Continuously analyze user feedback, session recordings, heatmaps, and quantitative data to identify key pain points and opportunities for UX enhancements within the existing product ecosystem.
  • Design and prototype small-scale, testable solutions—such as UI tweaks, flow adjustments, or new component variations—that directly address identified user problems and support specific business goals.
  • Formulate clear, measurable hypotheses for A/B tests and multivariate experiments in close collaboration with product managers and data analysts, ensuring each test has a defined goal.
  • Own the end-to-end design lifecycle for experiments, from initial ideation and low-fidelity wireframing through to pixel-perfect, high-fidelity mockups and detailed interaction specifications.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed design experiments, providing clear assets and guidance to facilitate rapid and accurate implementation.
  • Meticulously analyze and interpret the results of A/B tests, translating statistical outcomes into actionable design insights and clear recommendations for future product iterations.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and data-informed design within the broader product and engineering teams, effectively communicating the 'why' behind design decisions.
  • Maintain and contribute to the evolution of the organization's design system, proposing and documenting new components or patterns that have been validated through successful experiments.
  • Conduct rapid, targeted usability testing and user interviews to validate design concepts before committing to development resources for a full-scale experiment.

  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure that the user experience is cohesive across all touchpoints, from initial ad-click to in-product feature engagement.
  • Act as the user's advocate in sprint planning and strategy meetings, using qualitative and quantitative data to ground conversations and prioritize user-centric improvements.
