Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively scout, source, and evaluate a high-volume pipeline of early-stage startups for inclusion in the incubation program, utilizing various channels including industry events, online platforms, and referral networks.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential program applicants, critically assessing team composition, market size and potential, technological viability, and overall business plan feasibility.
  • Provide direct, hands-on mentorship and strategic advisory to portfolio companies on critical business aspects, including value proposition design, business model canvas development, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Design, manage, and execute the complete lifecycle of incubation cohorts, from founder onboarding and curriculum development to milestone tracking and graduation showcases (Demo Day).
  • Guide founders in developing robust financial models, key performance indicators (KPIs), pricing strategies, and unit economics to ensure a clear path to profitability and investor readiness.
  • Actively support startups in their fundraising efforts by preparing them for investor pitches, facilitating strategic introductions to angel investors and VCs, and assisting in the review of term sheets.
  • Develop and deliver a dynamic curriculum of workshops, training sessions, and masterclasses on essential entrepreneurial topics such as lean startup methodology, customer discovery, digital marketing, and intellectual property.
  • Cultivate and manage a robust, high-value network of mentors, industry experts, corporate partners, and venture capital investors to support the holistic growth of portfolio companies.
  • Implement and manage a rigorous system for tracking the progress and key metrics of each startup, providing regular, insightful reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive community culture among cohort founders, actively encouraging peer-to-peer learning, problem-solving, and the sharing of resources and successes.
  • Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging industry trends, new technologies, and potential strategic opportunities for portfolio companies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and forge strategic partnerships with corporations, academic institutions, and service providers to create unique value and exclusive opportunities for incubated startups.
  • Organize and manage key ecosystem events, including high-impact networking mixers, pitch competitions, mentor office hours, and the culminating Demo Day or Investor Showcase.
  • Assist startups with foundational operational challenges, connecting them to a vetted network of legal, accounting, and HR resources to help them build a solid corporate structure.
  • Develop compelling thought leadership content, in-depth case studies, and success stories that promote the incubator program and its portfolio companies to a wider audience.
  • Systematically collect, analyze, and act upon feedback from founders, mentors, and partners to continuously iterate and improve the quality and impact of the incubation program.
  • Contribute to the refinement of the incubator's investment thesis and selection criteria based on market feedback, portfolio performance, and evolving strategic goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing, finance, and leadership teams to ensure seamless alignment of program goals and the smooth execution of all incubation activities.
  • Manage the alumni network, providing ongoing, post-program support and resources to graduated companies to help them navigate their next stage of growth and scale.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare detailed reports on program activities, startup progress, and overall portfolio health for internal governance and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously research and integrate new tools, innovative frameworks, and best practices in entrepreneurship education into the program's curriculum to maintain a world-class offering.
