Primary Functions

- Implement and rigorously enforce all biosecurity and sanitation protocols for facilities, equipment, and personnel to prevent the introduction and spread of pathogenic agents.
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of setters, hatchers, egg rooms, and chick processing areas according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a sterile environment.
- Accurately record and meticulously maintain detailed logs of all incubation parameters, hatch rates, fertility data, and quality control metrics for performance analysis and reporting.
- Actively participate in the humane processing of newly hatched chicks, which includes expert grading for quality, accurate counting, sexing (if required), and careful preparation for transport.
- Administer vaccinations, beak treatments, or other specified treatments to hatchlings in strict accordance with company policies and established animal welfare guidelines.
