Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop and implement multi-year category strategies for key indirect spend areas such as IT, professional services, marketing, facilities, and travel.
- Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, including market analysis, supplier identification, and the creation and management of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Conduct complex commercial negotiations with suppliers, focusing on achieving favorable terms, reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO), and securing advantageous service level agreements (SLAs).
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, master service agreements, and statements of work in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal business partners to understand their needs, challenges, and long-term requirements.
- Proactively manage key supplier relationships through structured Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs, including regular business reviews, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform in-depth spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, sourcing efficiencies, and areas for supplier consolidation across the organization.
- Analyze market intelligence and industry trends to inform category strategies, identify potential risks, and uncover innovative sourcing solutions.
- Drive the achievement of annual cost savings and value-add targets, meticulously tracking and reporting on all sourcing-related financial impacts.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Champion the use of e-sourcing and other procurement technologies to increase efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage the full lifecycle of supplier contracts, from initial negotiation to renewal or termination, ensuring all obligations are met by both parties.
- Lead cross-functional project teams through complex sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all relevant departments.
- Develop comprehensive business cases for sourcing recommendations, presenting findings and strategic options to senior leadership for approval.
- Act as a subject matter expert on indirect procurement, providing guidance and support to business units on best practices for engaging with third-party suppliers.
Secondary Functions

- Manage the supplier onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation, compliance checks, and system setups are completed accurately.
