Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, data-driven influence strategies that align with overarching brand objectives, marketing goals, and target audience profiles.
  • Identify, vet, and cultivate strong, authentic relationships with a diverse network of key opinion leaders, influencers, creators, journalists, and industry experts.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of influence campaigns, from initial creative ideation and strategic planning to talent negotiation, contract execution, and final performance analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, PR, Social Media, Content, and Product Marketing to ensure a cohesive and integrated brand message across all channels.
  • Conduct in-depth audience and market research to uncover emerging trends, cultural conversations, and potential partnership opportunities that resonate with our target demographics.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for all influence activities, delivering regular, insightful reports on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and impact on brand perception.
  • Manage and allocate the influence marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource distribution and delivering maximum value and impact for every campaign.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the creator economy and influence landscape, educating stakeholders and providing strategic counsel on best practices and potential risks.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and agreements with influencers, talent agencies, and partners, ensuring all deliverables, usage rights, and compliance requirements are clearly defined.
  • Oversee the content co-creation process, providing creative direction and brand guidance to ensure all partner-generated content is high-quality, authentic, and on-brand.
  • Monitor online conversations and sentiment related to the brand and our influence campaigns, proactively identifying opportunities for engagement and mitigating potential reputational risks.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools and platforms for influencer discovery, campaign management, and performance measurement to streamline workflows and enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain a tiered framework for influencer partnerships, ranging from micro-influencers for niche engagement to macro-influencers for broad-scale awareness.
  • Craft compelling and persuasive briefs, pitch materials, and talking points to effectively communicate campaign concepts and value propositions to potential partners.
  • Stay at the forefront of social media platform changes, digital trends, and evolving FTC/ASA guidelines to ensure all strategies are innovative, compliant, and effective.
  • Analyze competitor influence strategies and activities to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for our brand to establish a unique and authoritative voice.
