Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, execute, and oversee the company's influencer marketing strategies in alignment with overarching marketing and business goals.
  • Identify, vet, and build a strong network of on-brand influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors through various channels and platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Manage all end-to-end influencer campaign logistics, including outreach, pitching, contract negotiation, and briefing to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with influencers and their management teams, acting as the primary point of contact for the brand.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of contracts, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and compensation, ensuring legal and brand compliance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure influencer content is synergistic with other marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and PR.
  • Monitor and analyze influencer campaign performance, tracking key metrics such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, website traffic, conversions, and ROI.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on campaign outcomes and influencer performance to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking spend, processing payments, and optimizing for cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the content creation process, from reviewing creative briefs to providing feedback and ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives before it goes live.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging social media platforms, new influencer talent, and best practices in creator marketing.
  • Manage the seeding of products to influencers and VIPs, tracking the process and monitoring for organic mentions and content creation.
  • Utilize influencer marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Grin, Aspire, CreatorIQ) for discovery, campaign management, and performance analytics.
  • Ensure all influencer activities and content adhere to relevant regulations and disclosure guidelines (e.g., FTC guidelines).

Secondary Functions

  • Coordinate with the events team to involve influencers in brand activations, product launches, and other experiential marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the product and e-commerce teams to leverage influencer content and testimonials across the company website and product pages.
  • Assist the PR team by identifying influencers for media opportunities and incorporating them into broader public relations narratives.
  • Monitor competitor influencer activities to identify threats, opportunities, and key industry trends.
  • Manage and organize a comprehensive database of current and potential influencer partners.
  • Facilitate the creation of whitelisted ads from influencer content, working with the paid media team to optimize performance.
  • Gather qualitative feedback from influencers about products and brand perception to inform product development and marketing strategy.
