Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the job board, ensuring its alignment with the organization's broader business objectives and long-term vision.
  • Assume full P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibility for the job board, including developing annual budgets, forecasting revenue, managing expenses, and driving profitability.
  • Spearhead multi-channel user acquisition strategies to consistently grow the databases of both qualified job seekers and actively hiring employers.
  • Design and manage a holistic marketing mix, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email automation, social media campaigns, and strategic partnerships to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Direct the product development lifecycle for the platform, collaborating with engineering and UX/UI teams to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and launch impactful improvements.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by establishing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, engagement rates, application volume, and customer lifetime value.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover actionable insights that inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key enterprise clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers to enhance the platform's value and reach.
  • Formulate and refine pricing models for job postings, subscription packages, and other employer-facing products to maximize revenue while remaining competitive.
  • Oversee the entire user experience, continuously seeking to reduce friction and increase satisfaction for both job seekers applying for roles and employers managing their hiring funnels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team that may include marketing, sales, and customer support professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert on the online recruitment industry, staying ahead of technological advancements, competitor movements, and shifts in hiring behavior.
  • Negotiate and secure high-value partnerships with job aggregators, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other technology providers to expand distribution and functionality.
  • Develop and implement a robust content strategy—including career advice articles, employer branding resources, and industry reports—to position the platform as a thought leader.
  • Define and enforce content quality and moderation standards for job postings and company profiles to ensure the integrity and trustworthiness of the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to create compelling sales collateral, target key accounts, and provide support in closing strategic deals.
  • Manage the technical and non-technical aspects of SEO to improve organic search rankings for high-intent keywords and drive cost-effective traffic growth.
  • Optimize the customer journey from initial awareness to conversion and retention, implementing A/B tests and other experiments to improve key metrics.
  • Ensure the platform's full compliance with relevant legal and data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, to protect users and the business.
  • Represent the company as the face of the job board at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to build brand equity and generate new business leads.

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis to assist other departments in their strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the organization's broader data and digital strategy, sharing insights from the job board that can inform other business units.
  • Collaborate with business units outside of the immediate team to translate their data and platform needs into actionable engineering and product requirements.
  • Participate in company-wide sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and strategic offsites to ensure cross-functional alignment and knowledge sharing.
