Primary Functions
- Provide comprehensive one-on-one career coaching and advising to a diverse caseload of clients, guiding them through all phases of the job search process from self-assessment to offer negotiation.

- Conduct realistic mock interviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to help clients build confidence, refine their narrative, and master their interviewing skills.
- Coach individuals on developing and implementing effective networking strategies, including how to leverage LinkedIn, attend industry events, and conduct informational interviews.
- Advise clients on building a strong personal brand, maintaining a professional online presence, and demonstrating workplace etiquette essential for career success.
- Proactively develop, nurture, and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a wide range of local and national employers, industry partners, and recruiters to create a robust pipeline of job and internship opportunities.
- Actively market and advocate for program participants to potential employers, thoughtfully matching candidate skills, experience, and aspirations with specific employer needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of career-focused events, such as large-scale career fairs, employer information sessions, industry-specific panel discussions, and networking nights.
- Manage and consistently update an internal job board or career services management platform (e.g., Handshake, Symplicity) with relevant, vetted, and timely career opportunities.
- Meticulously track and report on placement outcomes, employer engagement activities, starting salaries, and other key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness and inform strategy.
- Design, develop, and facilitate engaging, interactive workshops and seminars on a full spectrum of career development topics, including advanced resume strategies, interview techniques, salary negotiation, and LinkedIn optimization.
- Create, refine, and manage a library of career resources, including digital handouts, video tutorials, and online content to support job seekers' independent learning.
- Collaborate closely with faculty, program staff, or community partners to integrate career development concepts and activities into curricula or broader program services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records, diligently documenting all interactions, progress notes, and employment outcomes in a CRM or case management system.
- Stay current on emerging industry trends, labor market information, and best practices in career services, workforce development, and recruiting.
