Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Draft, edit, and proofread compelling and inclusive job descriptions in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers to accurately reflect role requirements and company culture.
- Post and manage job advertisements across a wide range of platforms, including the company careers page, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and various niche or industry-specific job boards.
- Ensure all job postings maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and formatting, reinforcing the company's employer value proposition.
- Regularly audit and refresh existing job postings to ensure accuracy, compliance with EEO and other legal standards, and optimal visibility in search results.
- Implement SEO best practices within job descriptions and titles to improve organic search rankings on job boards and search engines like Google.
- Manage the job posting functionality within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring seamless integration and accurate data flow from application sources.
- Research and identify new and emerging job boards, social media platforms, and other channels to diversify talent sourcing and reach passive candidates.
- Monitor and track the performance of job postings, analyzing metrics such as view-to-apply rates, cost-per-application, and source effectiveness.
- Maintain and organize a central library of job description templates, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible for the talent acquisition team.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and share social media content that promotes key openings and drives traffic to the careers page.
- Handle the administrative aspects of job board contracts and renewals, and track spending against the recruitment advertising budget.
- Remove filled positions from all platforms in a timely manner to ensure a positive candidate experience and maintain data integrity.
- Advise hiring teams on best practices for writing job descriptions that attract a diverse and qualified applicant pool, avoiding biased or exclusionary language.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any technical issues related to job board integrations or posting errors, troubleshooting with vendors as needed.
- Manage employee referral program postings and ensure internal job boards are consistently updated with new opportunities.
Secondary Functions
- Assist the recruitment team with initial resume screening to identify candidates who meet the basic qualifications for open roles.
