Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Assist in the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale tech events, from initial concept brainstorming to post-event analysis and reporting.
  • Act as a supporting point of contact for corporate partners and sponsors, helping to manage communications, track deliverables, and ensure a high-value sponsorship experience.
  • Support the marketing team in drafting and scheduling engaging content for social media channels, newsletters, and blogs to drive event registration and community buzz.
  • Actively engage with the developer, student, and tech professional communities through online platforms like Discord and Slack, and via direct outreach to foster a sense of belonging.
  • Manage critical event logistics, including coordinating with venues, communicating with third-party vendors, and building detailed production schedules to ensure a flawless on-site experience.
  • Provide hands-on, on-site support during the event, serving as a knowledgeable and friendly resource for attendees, volunteers, speakers, and partners.
  • Help manage the event budget by meticulously tracking project expenses, processing invoices, and assisting the finance team with reconciliation.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the event’s volunteer program, which includes recruiting, onboarding, training, and scheduling volunteers.
  • Collaborate with the content and speaker management team to help source and confirm speakers, manage session abstracts, and prepare presentation materials.

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of event-related merchandise and swag, from procurement and inventory management to on-site distribution.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range:
