Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively assist Jury Commissioners and court clerks in managing the jury summons process, including processing responses, deferrals, and excusals with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conduct comprehensive background research on potential jurors using publicly available information to support the voir dire process for legal teams.
  • Prepare and organize detailed juror profiles and questionnaires, ensuring all documentation is compliant with court standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Sit in on and observe the jury selection (voir dire) process, taking meticulous notes on questioning strategies, juror responses, and challenges for cause or peremptory strikes.
