Primary Functions
- Process and manage a high volume of juror qualification questionnaires, meticulously reviewing them for completeness, legibility, and statutory eligibility.

- Play a key role in the in-person jury selection and impanelment process, including checking in large groups of jurors, conducting comprehensive orientation sessions, and providing clear instructions.
- Operate and maintain the electronic jury management software to accurately update juror statuses, record attendance, process outcomes, and generate various statistical reports and panel lists.
- Calculate, process, and audit juror attendance fees, mileage reimbursements, and other related payments, ensuring compliance with strict financial regulations and procedures.
- Maintain the absolute integrity and confidentiality of the master jury wheel and all juror-related records, including personal information, in both physical and electronic formats.
- Assist the Jury Clerk or Courtroom Deputy during the live voir dire process by tracking peremptory and for-cause challenges, managing juror movement, and maintaining accurate seating charts.
- Generate and distribute certified lists of trial jurors to the judge, attorneys, and other essential court personnel in a timely manner.
- Manage juror logistics on demanding trial days, including coordinating meals and parking, managing breaks, and proactively addressing any immediate needs or concerns that arise.
- Diligently update and maintain the automated juror information telephone line and the court’s public website with current reporting instructions and status updates.
- Conduct post-service follow-up, including the distribution and processing of juror exit surveys and the preparation and issuance of official certificates of service.
- Prepare the courtroom and jury deliberation rooms ahead of trial, ensuring all necessary supplies, technology, and documents are in place for a smooth proceeding.
