Primary Functions

  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to optimize, troubleshoot, and enhance the functionality of the Jury Management System (JMS), ensuring data integrity and user-friendliness.
  • Systematically evaluate the impact of new legislation, court rules, or administrative orders on jury processes and data collection requirements.
  • Manage and query large, complex datasets from multiple sources (JMS, census data, DMV records, voter rolls) to support analytical projects and respond to inquiries.
  • Develop and validate predictive models to forecast juror-show rates and courtroom needs, helping to reduce juror waste and associated costs.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on jury data, statistics, and process, providing consultation to judges, attorneys, and court administrators.
  • Monitor and audit jury-related financial transactions, including juror payment and expense reimbursement, to ensure accuracy and compliance with fiscal policies.
  • Design and analyze juror satisfaction surveys to gather qualitative feedback and measure the effectiveness of juror-facing services and communications.
  • Ensure all jury selection and management processes are in strict compliance with state and federal statutes, local court rules, and constitutional mandates.
