Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Proactively engage and greet every customer with a warm, positive, and energetic attitude to create a welcoming and approachable environment.
- Expertly and accurately answer customer questions regarding products, services, pricing, and current promotional offers.
- Efficiently process a variety of sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Masterfully handle cash drawer management, including performing accurate opening and closing counts and reconciling the till at the end of each shift.
- Actively listen to customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations, confidently employing upselling and cross-selling techniques to enhance sales.
- Maintain a deep and comprehensive knowledge of all products and services to act as a subject matter expert for customers.
- Drive customer loyalty by clearly explaining the benefits of and enrolling customers in rewards or membership programs.
- Assume full responsibility for the daily setup, organization, presentation, and breakdown of the kiosk station.
- Consistently maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the kiosk, adhering to strict visual merchandising standards.
- Diligently monitor and manage on-hand inventory levels, promptly restocking merchandise from backstock to prevent sales interruptions.
- Professionally and patiently resolve customer complaints and issues, aiming for first-contact resolution and escalating to management when appropriate.
- Act as a helpful guide by providing directions and information about the surrounding facility (e.g., mall, airport, event venue).
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and operational procedures, with a strong focus on security, cash handling, and health and safety protocols.
- Manage customer lines and queues effectively, ensuring minimal wait times and a smooth, pleasant service flow.
- Achieve and exceed personal and team-based sales targets and service-level objectives set by management.
Secondary Functions
- Communicate inventory shortages, product damages, or frequent customer feedback on products to the supervisory team.
- Assist in conducting periodic physical inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy and loss prevention.
