Primary Functions
- Own and articulate the long-term vision and strategic direction for the assigned kitchen appliance category, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and concept development through to launch, market maturity, and end-of-life planning.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap, identifying new product opportunities and line extensions based on rigorous market analysis and consumer insights.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer pain points, and opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Define detailed product requirements, specifications, and feature sets, creating compelling business cases to secure project funding and executive buy-in.

- Analyze sales data, market share reports (e.g., NPD, GfK), and post-launch performance metrics to assess product success and inform future strategic decisions.
- Oversee relationships with key suppliers and manufacturing partners, participating in negotiations and ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
- Champion the voice of the consumer within the organization, translating qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable product improvements and new concepts.
- Lead the development of product packaging, user manuals, and other collateral to ensure a cohesive and premium out-of-box experience for the customer.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on product strategy, performance updates, and business reviews to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Partner with the quality assurance and customer service teams to monitor product quality, address field issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide the product launch process across all commercialization aspects, coordinating timelines and deliverables with sales, marketing, PR, and supply chain teams.
- Stay abreast of global regulatory requirements, safety standards (e.g., UL, ETL), and compliance issues relevant to the kitchen appliance industry.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive product training materials and programs for internal sales teams, retail partners, and customer support agents.
- Manage the product development budget, including tooling, samples, and research expenses, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
