Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Execute the complete installation of a wide range of kitchen lighting systems, including low-voltage LED tape, puck lights, recessed cans, and decorative fixtures.
Expertly run, conceal, and secure electrical wiring through walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and backsplashes with minimal impact on existing structures.
Interpret and work from technical documents, including architectural blueprints, electrical schematics, and custom lighting design plans.
Perform precise layout and measurement to ensure perfect placement and alignment of all lighting fixtures and components.
Mount and wire essential control components such as transformers, drivers, dimmers, switches, and smart-home-integrated controllers.
Conduct thorough testing of all circuits and components using multimeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure system integrity, safety, and functionality.
Ensure all electrical work is performed in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local building and safety regulations.

Perform minor finish work, including patching and texturing drywall or repairing wood surfaces, to leave the worksite in pristine condition.

Secondary Functions
