Primary Functions

  • Conduct regular, insightful sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to review performance, provide constructive feedback, and reinforce sales training and product knowledge.
  • Take full ownership of the showroom's operational excellence, ensuring it is impeccably maintained, visually inspiring, and effectively merchandised to represent the brand's quality.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key trade partners, including custom home builders, architects, interior designers, and general contractors, to drive referral business.
  • Manage the complex process of quoting, proposal generation, and contract negotiation, ensuring accuracy in pricing, scope, and terms to protect both client interests and company profitability.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the company’s full product range, including cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and accessories, as well as competitor offerings and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing department to conceptualize and execute local marketing campaigns, showroom events, and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and brand awareness.
  • Direct the allocation of sales leads to design staff, ensuring a balanced workload and strategic matching of designer skills with client project complexity.
  • Analyze sales data and market intelligence to identify emerging opportunities, potential threats, and areas for strategic adjustment in sales approach or product focus.
  • Ensure the sales team is proficient in and consistently utilizes CRM software and design software (like 2020 Design or similar) to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.
  • Manage the departmental budget, including staffing costs, marketing expenses, and operational overhead, to ensure financial efficiency and contribute to the P&L.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the sales team and other internal departments such as operations, purchasing, and installation to ensure smooth project handoffs and execution.
