Core Responsibilities

As a Kitting Trainee, your day-to-day will be focused on activities that ensure our production and order fulfillment processes run smoothly.

Primary Functions

  • Accurately interpret work orders, pick tickets, or Bills of Materials (BOMs) to understand the specific components, quantities, and assembly instructions required for each kit.
  • Navigate warehouse locations efficiently to pick and pull the correct parts and materials from designated bins, shelves, or racks.
  • Utilize handheld RF scanners or other inventory management system devices to accurately record the movement of parts from stock to kits.
  • Perform meticulous visual inspections of all components for defects, damage, or incorrect labeling before including them in a kit.

  • Assemble components into a final kit configuration, following specific layout diagrams or procedural instructions to ensure consistency and usability.

  • Generate and apply correct identification labels, barcodes, and any required documentation to finished kits for proper tracking and routing.
