Primary Functions

- Identify and treat various types of stains by applying the correct chemical solutions and techniques before or after the wash cycle.
- Perform precise folding, counting, and stacking of clean linens and garments, ensuring they meet presentation standards and are ready for distribution.
- Conduct continuous quality control inspections on all processed items, identifying and removing any pieces that are torn, stained, or worn out from circulation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the laundry facility, including cleaning lint filters, wiping down equipment, and mopping floors.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper handling of biohazardous materials in compliance with OSHA and health department standards.
- Manage and document the use of laundry chemicals, ensuring they are properly mixed, stored, and dispensed according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
