Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ATV Sales Outfitters to achieve and surpass individual and dealership sales quotas.
  • Actively manage the entire sales cycle, from initial customer engagement and needs analysis to vehicle presentation, test drives, and closing the sale.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase ATV/UTV market share.
  • Serve as the lead product knowledge expert on all new and pre-owned ATV, UTV, and side-by-side models, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Oversee the showroom floor presentation, ensuring all units are clean, correctly priced, and merchandised according to brand standards.
  • Structure and present financing, insurance (F&I), and extended service plan options to customers in a clear and transparent manner.
  • Manage the vehicle trade-in process, conducting accurate appraisals and negotiating fair market values for customer trades.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues with professionalism and tact, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing regular coaching, constructive feedback, and formal performance reviews.
  • Maintain a robust and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads, customer interactions, and sales pipelines.
  • Train new and existing team members on the dealership's sales process, product specifications, and best practices for customer engagement.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store and off-site sales events, demo days, and community outreach initiatives to generate leads.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and competitive sales environment that is focused on teamwork and delivering an exceptional buying experience.
  • Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and state-required paperwork are completed accurately and in compliance with all regulations.
  • Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to set realistic yet challenging sales goals and forecasts for the powersports department.
  • Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner, and guide them through the entire sales process.
  • Actively participate in dealership-wide meetings to contribute to overall strategy and operational improvements.

Secondary Functions

  • Work closely with the parts and service departments to ensure a seamless customer handoff for accessory installation and future maintenance needs.
  • Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Assist in the management of powersports inventory, including monitoring stock levels, recommending new unit orders, and managing aged inventory.
  • Contribute to the development of digital marketing content, including social media posts and vehicle walk-around videos, to attract online shoppers.
  • Participate in manufacturer-led training and certification programs to remain a top-level expert on the latest products and technologies.
  • Support the General Manager with ad-hoc reporting and data analysis related to sales performance and inventory turn.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with manufacturer representatives and financial institution partners.
  • Assist in inventory audits and ensure the physical count of units aligns with system records.

Education & Experience
