Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Direct and oversee the daily activities of an installation crew, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring a productive and safe work environment.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, providing project updates, and managing expectations to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Read, interpret, and execute complex work orders, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure all installations meet precise design specifications.

- Manage and maintain accountability for all on-site inventory, including materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring resources are available and secured.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior installers, providing constructive feedback and guidance on technical skills, safety practices, and company standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-installation site surveys and assessments to confirm site readiness, identify potential obstacles, and finalize the installation plan.
- Perform final system commissioning, testing, and calibration to verify that all components are functioning correctly and meet performance benchmarks.
- Complete and submit accurate daily field reports, project progress documentation, and any other required paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate workflow and logistics with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers, painters) on a multi-trade job site to ensure seamless project integration.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and quality, performing regular quality control checks throughout the installation process to prevent rework.
- Manage the cleanliness and organization of the job site, vehicles, and storage areas, ensuring a professional appearance and efficient operation.
- Conduct a final walk-through with the client upon project completion to demonstrate system functionality, answer final questions, and secure sign-off.
- Provide clear and concise project status updates to the Project Manager, immediately escalating any issues that may impact the project timeline, budget, or scope.
- Load and unload company vehicles with necessary tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring everything is properly secured for transport.
- Be responsible for the proper use and routine maintenance of company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Adapt to unforeseen challenges and changing site conditions, making decisive and effective on-the-spot adjustments to the installation plan.
- Decommission and safely remove pre-existing systems or equipment as required by the project scope.
