Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Direct and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and successful closure for large-scale, complex initiatives.
  • Define comprehensive project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with key business goals, working in close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including robust timelines, resource allocation models, and budget management frameworks for maximum transparency and control.
  • Act as the primary, senior-level point of contact for all project-related communications, expertly managing stakeholder expectations and cultivating strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional project team, fostering a highly collaborative, accountable, and high-performance environment to drive results.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and document project risks and issues, developing sophisticated mitigation and contingency plans to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Track and report on project performance, milestones, and KPIs using appropriate tools and techniques, analyzing progress to ensure the successful completion of goals.

  • Oversee and negotiate resource availability and allocation with department heads, ensuring that projects are staffed with the appropriate talent and resources for success.
  • Manage critical vendor and third-party relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.
  • Resolve complex conflicts within the project team and among high-level stakeholders with diplomacy and a steadfast focus on achieving project objectives.
  • Prepare, manage, and report on detailed project budgets, tracking expenditures and providing accurate financial forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate key agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions where hybrid or agile methodologies are employed.

Secondary Functions

  • Champion and institutionalize project management best practices, standards, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management office (PMO) and contribute to the evolution of our project delivery framework.
  • Develop and maintain a library of comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, RAID logs, and post-mortem analyses.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed project plans and actionable technical specifications for engineering and development teams.
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables adhere to established standards and client expectations.
  • Support strategic planning by providing data-driven insights on project portfolio performance, resource capacity, and potential project risks.
  • Develop and deliver compelling progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Drive the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of new project management tools and technologies to improve team efficiency, project visibility, and reporting capabilities.
  • Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional growth.

  • Advanced Project Management Software: Expert-level proficiency in tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or similar enterprise-grade PPM software.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
