Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Direct, mentor, and supervise a dedicated team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians, overseeing daily work assignments and ensuring tasks are executed with a high degree of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all critical machinery and facility systems to drastically reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifecycle.

- Manage the complete work order lifecycle within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), from creation and prioritization to assignment and detailed closure, ensuring accurate data capture for future analysis.
- Oversee the maintenance spare parts inventory, managing stock levels, identifying critical spares, and coordinating with procurement to ensure parts availability while controlling costs.
- Provide direct, hands-on support to the maintenance team for complex repairs, installations, and fabrication tasks, leading by example and sharing technical knowledge.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules to minimize operational disruptions, collaborating closely with production supervisors and planners.
- Evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians, providing regular, constructive feedback, identifying training needs, and facilitating professional development opportunities to build a high-performance team.
- Prepare and analyze key maintenance metrics and KPIs (e.g., MTTR, MTBF, PM compliance, downtime), generating regular reports for management to demonstrate departmental performance and identify improvement areas.
