Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Perform intricate mechanical and electrical assembly of components and sub-assemblies according to detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

- Read and interpret complex technical documents, including blueprints, wiring diagrams, process flow charts, and P&IDs, to guide assembly and repair activities.
- Utilize a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to perform assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks with precision.
- Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, speed) and make necessary adjustments to ensure production output remains within specified control limits.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and actively maintain a clean and organized work environment based on 5S principles.
Secondary Functions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of production activities, maintenance tasks, and equipment performance in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing and design engineers to support the implementation and validation of new processes, equipment, and product lines (NPI).
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events and lean manufacturing projects, to enhance efficiency, safety, and reduce waste.
- Assist in the development, refinement, and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and maintenance tasks.
- Train junior technicians and production operators on proper equipment usage, fundamental safety procedures, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and critical components, initiating purchase requests to prevent stockouts and support maintenance activities.
