Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans for a range of mathematics courses, adapting content to meet student needs and interests.

Secondary Functions

  • Serve as a student advisor or homeroom teacher, providing academic guidance and social-emotional support.
  • Sponsor or coach extracurricular activities, such as Math Club, academic competitions (e.g., Math Olympiad), or a robotics team.
  • Chaperone school events, such as dances, field trips, and athletic competitions, as part of the broader faculty community.
