Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging and on-brand content across all key social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Actively monitor all social media channels for community engagement opportunities, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Draft compelling, clear, and error-free copy for a variety of media, including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to source or co-create visually appealing assets, including graphics, photos, and short-form videos, ensuring they align with campaign goals and brand standards.
  • Assist in the drafting and distribution of press releases, media alerts, and pitch letters to targeted journalists, bloggers, and media outlets.
  • Monitor, track, and compile media coverage (clippings) and create comprehensive reports to measure PR effectiveness and brand sentiment.
  • Provide hands-on support for the execution of integrated marketing and media campaigns, ensuring all components are launched on time and to specification.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital channels, preparing regular performance reports with actionable insights for the marketing team.
  • Maintain and organize the digital asset library, ensuring all creative files, brand guidelines, and media kits are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Conduct regular research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Act as a central point of contact for media-related inquiries from internal teams, external agencies, and media partners, trafficking requests and assets as needed.
  • Coordinate the logistics for media events, interviews, and influencer collaborations, including scheduling, briefing materials, and follow-up.
  • Assist in managing the paid media budget by tracking ad spend, processing invoices, and ensuring campaigns stay within their allocated budget.
  • Support the media buying process by trafficking ad creative to publishers and ensuring proper implementation and tracking.
  • Manage and cultivate lists of media contacts, influencers, and industry partners within a CRM or database.

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis to uncover new audience insights.
