Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and cultivate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through strategic cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned territory, client base, and specific industry verticals to identify emerging opportunities and potential revenue streams.
  • Conduct thorough needs-analysis meetings with prospective clients to understand their business goals, marketing challenges, and target audience in order to propose effective advertising solutions.
  • Conceptualize, create, and deliver compelling, high-impact sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of our media properties and solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients and advertising agencies, positioning yourself as their trusted media consultant.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing, contract terms, and campaign specifics to close deals while ensuring profitability and alignment with company policies.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and activity-based key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact and lead generation to contract negotiation, closing, and successful campaign launch.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including ad operations, marketing, and creative services, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of our full suite of advertising products, including digital display, video, native content, social media, print, and broadcast options.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and campaign performance data to provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline reports to sales management using the company's designated CRM platform.
  • Drive revenue growth by up-selling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients based on their evolving needs and campaign performance.
  • Respond to and manage incoming Request for Proposals (RFPs) with thoughtful, strategic, and customized responses that showcase our strengths.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating with internal departments to ensure a swift and effective resolution.
  • Develop tailored, multi-platform advertising packages that combine various media assets to maximize client reach and return on investment.
  • Onboard new clients by providing comprehensive information about campaign processes, creative specifications, and reporting capabilities.
  • Monitor active campaigns to ensure they are pacing correctly, performing as expected, and delivering against client objectives.
  • Prepare and present post-campaign analysis reports to clients, highlighting key successes, insights, and opportunities for future partnership and growth.
