Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments to accurately identify client needs, presenting problems, and treatment recommendations using DSM-5 criteria.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review client-centered, individualized treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with the client, outlining measurable goals and clinical interventions.
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
- Deliver immediate crisis intervention and de-escalation services for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, and formulate robust safety plans to ensure client well-being.
- Maintain meticulous, timely, and confidential clinical documentation, including progress notes, intake assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, case managers, and nurses, to ensure coordinated and holistic client care.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups on topics such as emotional regulation, coping skills, relapse prevention, stress management, and mindfulness.
- Provide comprehensive case management services, linking clients to essential community resources such as housing, vocational training, social services, and medical care.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for suicide, self-harm, and harm to others, implementing appropriate protocols and notifying relevant parties as mandated by law and ethical guidelines.
- Act as a strong client advocate, helping them navigate complex healthcare, legal, and social service systems to ensure they receive the full spectrum of care they are entitled to.
- Stay current with the latest clinical research, best practices, and advancements in the mental health field by actively participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Administer, score, and interpret a variety of clinical screening tools and psychological assessments to inform diagnosis and measure progress toward treatment goals.
- Ensure all services are delivered with a high degree of cultural humility and competence, tailoring interventions to the unique cultural, social, and individual backgrounds of each client.

Education & Experience
Educational Background
