Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, shoot, and edit compelling video content for various channels, including marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and internal communications.
  • Manage all aspects of video pre-production, from initial brief and scriptwriting to location scouting, scheduling, and talent coordination.
  • Execute all phases of video post-production, expertly incorporating motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and visual effects to create polished, professional final products.
  • Design and produce a wide range of static and dynamic graphics for digital platforms, such as social media posts, web banners, email headers, infographics, and sales presentations.
  • Plan and execute professional photoshoots for products, events, and brand marketing campaigns, managing everything from lighting and composition to final image selection and delivery.
  • Perform advanced photo editing and retouching to ensure all photographic assets are high-quality, on-brand, and visually stunning.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar in close collaboration with the marketing team to ensure a consistent and strategic pipeline of new creative assets.
  • Adapt and optimize content for specific social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn), demonstrating a deep understanding of the nuances and best practices of each.
  • Create and animate engaging motion graphics and text overlays to enhance video content and produce standalone animated assets for ads and social media.
  • Record and edit high-quality audio for podcasts, video voiceovers, and other multimedia projects, ensuring clean, crisp, and professional sound.
  • Rigorously maintain and organize the company's digital asset library, ensuring all final files are properly tagged, archived, and easily accessible for stakeholders.
  • Serve as a brand champion, ensuring all created content strictly adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity.
  • Actively collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand their content needs and develop creative solutions that directly support their goals and initiatives.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, new media technologies, and content creation techniques to continuously innovate and elevate the brand's creative output.
  • Analyze the performance of multimedia content using platform analytics, and use data-driven insights to inform future creative strategies and optimizations.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, from initial brief to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
  • Operate and maintain all in-house studio equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and other production gear, making recommendations for upgrades as needed.
  • Transform complex ideas, technical information, and data into visually engaging and easy-to-understand content like infographics and explainer videos.
  • Provide technical and creative support for live-streamed events, including setup, camera operation, and recording for on-demand playback.
  • Proactively pitch new and innovative content ideas that align with overarching marketing campaigns and brand objectives, pushing the boundaries of our creative efforts.
  • Develop and refine a library of creative templates for frequently used assets (e.g., social media posts, presentation decks) to improve team efficiency and brand consistency.

Secondary Functions

  • Provide ad-hoc creative support to various departments for internal presentations, one-pagers, and event materials.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the brand's visual identity and content strategy by providing expert creative insights.
  • Collaborate with the web team to provide optimized visual assets for the company website and landing pages, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies within the marketing and creative team to drive efficient project execution.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
  • Demonstrable expertise in operating professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, various lens types, and lighting equipment for both video and photography.
  • Advanced skills in all areas of video editing, including color correction, color grading, sound mixing, and seamless motion graphics integration.
  • Strong graphic design capabilities with a solid, portfolio-backed understanding of typography, composition, and color theory.
  • Experience with professional audio recording equipment (e.g., lavalier and shotgun mics) and editing software for producing clean voiceovers and podcasts.
  • Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite).
