Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute high-quality video projects from pre-production to post-production, including scripting, filming, lighting, audio recording, editing, color grading, and final delivery for various platforms.
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive and engaging e-learning modules, simulations, and assessments using industry-standard authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
  • Create compelling 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for explainer videos, marketing materials, product demos, and internal communications using software such as Adobe After Effects.
  • Develop and maintain interactive web-based content and micro-sites using front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to support marketing campaigns and corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including instructional designers, marketers, product managers, and subject matter experts—to translate project requirements into effective multimedia solutions.
  • Manage the entire multimedia production lifecycle, from interpreting the initial creative brief and concept development through to asset management, final deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Design and produce a wide range of digital and graphic assets, such as infographics, illustrations, and interactive PDFs, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal across all media.
  • Integrate multimedia content seamlessly into various platforms, including websites, Content Management Systems (CMS), and Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Perform comprehensive audio engineering tasks, including recording professional voice-overs, cleaning and mixing audio tracks, and creating soundscapes for video and interactive projects.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and new software in multimedia production and interactive development, providing strategic recommendations for innovation.
  • Conduct user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for interactive projects, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to ensure usability and intuitive navigation.
  • Ensure all created multimedia content is accessible and compliant with relevant standards, such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), to support all users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to multimedia content playback, interactivity, and performance across different browsers, operating systems, and devices.
  • Manage and execute live-streamed events, including the technical setup of cameras, microphones, lighting, and streaming software (e.g., OBS, vMix) for webinars and virtual town halls.
  • Develop and maintain a central library of reusable digital media assets, including templates, graphics, b-roll footage, and audio clips, to streamline future production workflows.

Secondary Functions

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) testing on all multimedia deliverables to ensure they meet technical specifications, brand guidelines, and creative requirements before launch.
  • Archive and meticulously catalog final project files and raw assets within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system for future reference, retrieval, and reuse.
  • Provide technical support, training, and best-practice guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on the use of multimedia tools and platforms.
  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and enforcement of the organization's brand and style guidelines as they pertain to video, motion, and interactive media.
  • Assist in the selection, onboarding, and management of external vendors, freelancers, and production partners for specialized or large-scale projects.
  • Participate in project post-mortems and creative reviews to evaluate the success of multimedia initiatives and identify areas for process and outcome improvement.
  • Support marketing and communication teams by editing and repurposing existing video and graphic content for different channels and formats, such as social media clips and web banners.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro (video editing), After Effects (motion graphics), Photoshop (image editing), and Illustrator (vector graphics).
  • E-Learning Authoring: Proven experience developing interactive courses with tools like Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate.
  • Web Development Fundamentals: Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, for creating interactive web content.
  • Video Production Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end video production process, including cinematography, lighting principles, sound recording, and color correction/grading.
