Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Prepare and sterilize neurosurgical operating rooms by arranging instruments, equipment and sterile supplies in accordance with procedural requirements.
Assist neurosurgeons and surgical teams throughout the procedure by passing instruments, sutures and supplies in a timely, efficient and sterile manner.
Ensure a consistently sterile field is maintained before, during and after neurosurgical procedures to prevent infection.
