Primary Functions

  • Direct the daily editorial operations, setting the news agenda, and guiding coverage decisions from pitch to publication.

  • Oversee the newsroom budget, including staff compensation, freelance expenses, travel, and technology, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  • Collaborate closely with leaders in product, engineering, marketing, and sales to align editorial goals with broader business objectives and revenue strategies.
