Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for individual clients, analyzing their dietary habits, medical history, lifestyle, and health goals to create a complete client profile.

  • Develop highly personalized, evidence-based nutrition plans, meal guides, and dietary recommendations tailored to meet the unique needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of each client.

  • Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and coaching sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients to make sustainable lifestyle and behavioral changes.

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging corporate wellness workshops, webinars, and seminars on a variety of relevant nutrition topics such as stress management, mindful eating, and disease prevention.

  • Collaborate with corporate clients to analyze and improve cafeteria menus, vending machine options, and the overall food environment to promote a healthier workforce.

  • Create, author, and review original, scientifically accurate nutrition content for various platforms, including company blogs, articles, social media updates, and educational handouts.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and meticulously document client progress towards their health goals, adjusting nutrition plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and client satisfaction.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on nutrition, providing expert guidance and consultation to interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and fitness professionals.

  • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for clients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and obesity, in collaboration with their healthcare providers.

  • Stay consistently abreast of the latest scientific research, trends, and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics to ensure all recommendations are current and evidence-based.

  • Build and maintain a strong client base through proactive networking, marketing efforts, and building referral relationships with healthcare providers and other wellness professionals.

  • Conduct group nutrition classes and support groups, fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment for participants to share experiences and learn from one another.

  • Perform nutrient analysis of recipes, menus, and food products for restaurants or food service companies to ensure nutritional accuracy and compliance with labeling laws.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
