This role requires an on-call female model to represent brands across photography, video, live events, trade shows, retail promotions and experiential marketing. This role requires excellent presentation, the ability to follow creative direction quickly, and the flexibility to accept short-notice bookings, variable hours and diverse work environments. The ideal candidate maintains a polished professional image, manages her own portfolio and availability, and delivers consistent on-brand performance both in front of camera and during live activations.

Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Attend on-call bookings and arrive on time, fully prepared to perform in photography, video, live events and promotional activations with minimal supervision.
  • Follow detailed creative direction from photographers, art directors and brand reps to execute specific poses, expressions and movements required for each shot or activation.
  • Maintain and update professional portfolio, digitals (comp cards) and measurements so casting managers and clients can quickly evaluate fit and suitability.
  • Change wardrobe and styling quickly on set or during events while preserving composure and professional presentation under pressure.
  • Represent client brands in a customer-facing capacity, engaging attendees with positive energy, product knowledge and a brand-aligned demeanor at trade shows, pop-ups and retail activations.
  • Walk and model for runway shows, demonstrating consistent timing, posture, pacing and the ability to wear designer garments with appropriate technique.
  • Participate in model fittings and measurements, providing accurate size and fit feedback to designers, stylists and production teams.
  • Perform scripted and unscripted on-camera work for TV, online video, livestreams and social media content, adapting to both improvisational and scripted directions.
  • Support product demonstrations and sampling campaigns by handling products, explaining features, and assisting consumers while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
  • Travel on short notice to local or regional shoots and events, including early call times, remote locations and overnight stays when required.
  • Communicate availability proactively via agency booking platforms, apps, email and phone, accepting or declining assignments in a professional timeframe.
  • Collaborate with makeup artists, hair stylists and wardrobe teams to achieve the desired look and adhere to grooming and cosmetic specifications provided by clients.
  • Provide model release forms, identification and any required certifications (e.g., COVID vaccination proof, background checks for certain events) prior to bookings.
  • Maintain personal health, fitness and grooming standards to meet the aesthetic needs of commercial and editorial clients over long booking windows.
  • Adapt performance to different styles—commercial, editorial, fit, lifestyle, glamour—while keeping brand messaging consistent and on brief.
  • Deliver consistent facial expressions and emotive range on camera, using micro-adjustments to convey mood and narrative as requested by creatives.
  • Manage minor wardrobe malfunctions or on-set issues calmly and quickly, coordinating with production to minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to pre-shoot planning by reviewing mood boards, shot lists and brand guidelines so work in the studio or on location runs efficiently.
  • Model in inclusive environments and participate in diversity-focused casting, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professional respect across client bases.
  • Provide feedback to photographers and stylists about fit, movement and comfort to improve final imagery and ensure garment integrity during shoots.
  • Maintain punctual communication and professional behavior when interacting with clients, talent coordinators and event staff, resolving scheduling or on-site issues proactively.
  • Prepare and deliver live demonstrations, product walkthroughs or styled presentations during experiential events, ensuring messaging aligns to client KPIs and call-to-action goals.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect intellectual property at shoots; avoid unauthorized sharing of behind-the-scenes content until approved by the client.
  • Represent the brand positively on personal social media when contractually required, creating short form content or promotional posts consistent with client guidelines.

Secondary Functions

  • Support minor administrative needs such as confirming call times, verifying travel logistics and submitting invoicing or expenses post-assignment.
  • Assist with test shoots and comp card updates to ensure the agency’s roster stays current and competitive.
  • Mentor junior or newer models during castings and on set to share best practices for punctuality, professionalism and on-camera presence.
  • Participate in occasional promotional planning meetings or brand briefings to better understand long-term campaign goals and model requirements.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; professional presentation and customer service experience valued.

Preferred Education:

  • Degree or certificate in fashion, performing arts, communications, marketing, or related fields.
  • Professional model training, runway workshops or acting/coaching credentials are a plus.

Relevant Fields of Study:

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 0–5+ years (entry-level promotional work through experienced commercial modeling)
Preferred: 1–3 years of professional modeling experience with documented bookings in photography, events or trade shows and a current portfolio of quality digitals and comp cards.

Additional preferences:

  • Prior agency representation or verified client references preferred.
  • Proven availability for on-call shifts and flexibility to work nights/weekends.
  • Comfortable with travel and possessing required documentation (ID, work permits) where applicable.
