Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Directly supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of journeyman and apprentice painters, ensuring tasks are assigned effectively and work is completed according to project timelines.

- Manage the procurement, inventory, and storage of all paints, coatings, solvents, and application equipment, ensuring materials are on-hand and waste is minimized.
- Perform continuous quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle, from surface preparation to final coat application, ensuring work meets or exceeds industry and client standards.
- Provide hands-on training, mentorship, and coaching to crew members, focusing on new techniques, equipment operation, safety procedures, and professional development.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison with clients, general contractors, and project managers, providing regular progress updates and professionally addressing any questions or concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex on-site issues, such as application failures, difficult substrates, or unforeseen environmental conditions, by applying expert technical knowledge.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and timesheets, documenting labor hours, materials consumed, and work completed.
