Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Interpret and accurately process prescription orders received from medical providers, verifying for completeness, accuracy, and authenticity under pharmacist supervision.
Perform all stages of the medication dispensing process, including selecting the correct drug, dosage form, and quantity, and preparing labels in accordance with state and federal laws.
