Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to support the entire product development lifecycle, from initial ideation and concept validation through to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for product enhancement or innovation.
- Assist in the gathering, consolidation, and synthesis of user feedback from various channels, including surveys, support tickets, and user interviews, to inform product decisions.
- Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog by organizing user stories, tasks, and bugs under the guidance of the Product Manager.
- Prepare detailed documentation for new features and product requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment for engineering, design, and quality assurance teams.
- Coordinate and schedule key product-related meetings, such as stakeholder reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and be responsible for taking and distributing detailed meeting notes.
- Act as a key liaison between the product team and other departments like Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure smooth communication and alignment on product updates and launches.
- Support the creation of essential product materials, including presentations for internal stakeholders, release notes for customers, and content for internal knowledge bases.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user engagement data to generate insightful reports that help measure the success of features and inform future roadmap planning.
- Manage and track the physical or digital product sample process, ensuring samples are ordered, distributed to stakeholders, and tracked effectively.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by executing test cases, documenting defects, and verifying that new features meet the specified requirements before release.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, flagging potential risks or delays to the Product Manager to ensure the team stays on track.
- Help prepare and refine business cases for new product initiatives by gathering supporting data and market validation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas for product features, user experience improvements, and strategic direction.
- Support the product launch process by coordinating marketing assets, updating website content, and ensuring all teams are prepared for go-live.
- Create and manage internal team dashboards and reports to provide visibility into team velocity, project status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Secondary Functions
- Support ad-hoc data requests and perform exploratory data analysis to answer specific business questions from leadership or other teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization's product development processes and documentation standards.
