Primary Functions
- Develop, direct, and execute comprehensive, multi-channel public relations and communications strategies that directly support the company's long-term strategic objectives and brand positioning.
- Serve as the primary media contact and corporate spokesperson, expertly building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with key journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets across national, trade, and local levels.
- Lead the creation, editing, and strategic dissemination of all public-facing written materials, including press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, executive talking points, detailed FAQs, and official corporate statements.
- Proactively identify, pitch, and secure high-impact media coverage and prestigious speaking opportunities for company executives to elevate brand visibility and cement their status as industry thought leaders.
- Own and direct all crisis communications planning and execution, developing a robust crisis management playbook and acting as the central point of command during reputation-threatening situations to mitigate damage and steer public perception.
- Act as the primary guardian of the company's public image and reputation across all external channels, continuously monitoring media sentiment and public discourse to proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Direct the overarching strategy for owned media channels, including the corporate blog, digital newsroom, and key social media platforms, ensuring content is newsworthy, engaging, and aligned with PR goals.
- Collaborate closely with the C-suite and executive leadership team to provide trusted strategic counsel on communication challenges, messaging refinement, and public positioning for major company announcements, M&A activity, and strategic initiatives.

- Conduct comprehensive and rigorous media training for all key executives and designated spokespeople to ensure consistent, effective, and on-brand communication during interviews, presentations, and all public appearances.
