Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Seamlessly integrate into diverse operational teams by providing professional security, concierge, or operational coverage for planned and unplanned staff absences, ensuring zero disruption to service.
  • Act as a primary first responder to emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches, executing established emergency procedures with calm and precision.
  • Conduct comprehensive interior and exterior foot or vehicle patrols of assigned properties to deter unauthorized activity, identify safety hazards, and ensure the physical security of the premises.
  • Meticulously document all incidents, patrols, and notable activities by preparing clear, concise, and accurate daily activity logs and detailed incident reports for management review.
  • Proactively monitor CCTV systems, access control panels, and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats or operational issues in real-time.
  • Serve as a professional and approachable point of contact for employees, visitors, and the public, providing assistance, directions, and information while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Courteously enforce site-specific policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance among all personnel and visitors.
  • Manage and control access to facilities, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
  • Administer First Aid, CPR, or use an AED as required during medical emergencies, providing critical care until the arrival of emergency medical services.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to professionally manage and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise, prioritizing the safety of all involved parties.
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for police, fire, and paramedic services during emergencies, providing them with critical information and support.
  • Routinely inspect and test safety and fire suppression equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency exits, reporting any deficiencies for immediate correction.
  • Direct and assist in the orderly evacuation of buildings during drills or actual emergencies, ensuring the safe exit of all occupants.
  • Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of all issued equipment, including radios, body cameras, and vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working order.
  • Skillfully operate multi-line telephone systems and two-way radios to dispatch personnel, relay important information, and maintain constant communication with the control center.
  • Deliver comprehensive shift-end briefings to relieving officers, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of awareness regarding all recent activities and ongoing issues.
  • Execute precise opening and closing procedures for facilities, securing all access points, and setting alarm systems as per the daily operational schedule.

Secondary Functions

  • Assist supervisors with administrative tasks, such as reviewing reports for accuracy, compiling data for monthly operational summaries, and managing equipment inventories.
  • Provide constructive feedback and on-the-ground insights to management to help refine security protocols, post orders, and emergency response plans.

Education & Experience

Educational Background
