Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Execute comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance tasks on a wide range of production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unscheduled downtime.

- Safely operate various types of production equipment to fill in for absent operators, ensuring that production targets and quality specifications are consistently achieved.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance work, parts usage, and equipment status updates within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Calibrate and adjust industrial instrumentation and control systems to ensure they are functioning within established tolerances and providing accurate readings.
- Collaborate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and engineers to communicate equipment status, coordinate repairs, and minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring it is integrated smoothly into existing production lines.
- Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, initiating purchase requisitions as necessary to prevent stockouts of critical components.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment failures to identify underlying issues and recommend permanent corrective actions and process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to machine operators and junior technicians to enhance their understanding of equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial platforms safely and efficiently to support maintenance and operational tasks.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks, including welding, cutting, and machining, to create or repair custom parts and brackets needed for equipment repairs.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas, including maintenance shops and production floors, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events or 5S projects, to enhance safety, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Support facility-wide maintenance needs, which may include tasks related to HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and other building infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrate the flexibility to work across various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, often with short notice, to meet the dynamic needs of the operation.
- Complete all assigned work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner, providing clear feedback on the resolution and any follow-up actions required.
Secondary Functions
