Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Direct and oversee all daily operational activities of the rental location, including scheduling, logistics, reservations, and customer-facing interactions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by managing the branch's P&L, setting competitive pricing, controlling operational expenses, and maximizing asset utilization rates.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of rental agents and support staff through effective recruitment, comprehensive training, and consistent performance management.
  • Champion an exceptional customer service culture, personally handling and resolving escalated customer complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Manage the location's rental fleet or property portfolio, overseeing asset condition, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs, and managing the cycle of acquisition and disposal.
  • Enforce strict adherence to all company policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations (e.g., fair housing, vehicle licensing, consumer rights) to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue per unit, utilization, customer satisfaction scores, and employee turnover to identify trends and implement improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular audits of rental agreements, cash handling procedures, and inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
  • Cultivate a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among all staff members.
  • Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and minimizing bad debt.
