Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Greet guests in a warm and professional manner upon their arrival and manage seating arrangements to ensure a balanced distribution of tables for service staff.
- Present menus to patrons, accurately describe menu items, and articulately answer inquiries regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Make personalized recommendations and leverage upselling and cross-selling techniques to enhance the guest's dining experience and increase average check size.

- Proactively monitor and anticipate guest needs throughout their meal, refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining flow.
- Process guest payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Address customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, seeking to resolve issues promptly and escalating to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen utensils, operating commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Continuously monitor and restock service stations with necessary supplies, including cutlery, napkins, condiments, and glassware, to ensure readiness for service.
- Support opening and closing procedures, which may include setting up the dining room, brewing coffee, breaking down service stations, and completing end-of-shift side work.
- Receive and unpack inventory deliveries, verifying order accuracy and storing items in their designated locations in the stockroom, refrigerators, or freezers.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling and personal hygiene.
